A (free) Steam account and the Steam application installation are mandatory to activate and play your game.

How to activate a CD key on Steam?

1. Launch the Steam application: Open the Steam client on your computer. If you do not have an account yet, you must create one for free on the official Steam website, then download and install the app. Log into your profile.

2. Open the activation menu: In the top menu of the application, click on the "Games" tab, then select "Activate a Product on Steam…".

3. Enter your CD key: Follow the on-screen instructions, then copy and paste your unique code into the "Product Code" field. Click "Next" to confirm.

4. Install your game: Once the key is validated, the game is permanently linked to your account. A window will appear, allowing you to immediately start the download and installation from your library.

• Option A: Directly on your Xbox Series X | S console (Recommended method)

• Option B: Via a web browser (Alternative method)

  1. Go to the official Microsoft redemption website (redeem.microsoft.com) using your computer or smartphone.

  3. Enter or paste your unique 25-character code and confirm. The game is instantly added to your account, and background download will automatically trigger on your Xbox Series X | S if "Sleep" power mode is enabled.

How to activate a CD key on the Microsoft Store?

1. Open the Microsoft Store: Click on the Microsoft Store icon (the white shopping bag) in your Windows taskbar or search for it in your Start menu. Make sure you are signed in with your primary Microsoft account.

2. Access the activation menu: Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the application window. From the dropdown menu, select the "Redeem code or gift cards" option.

3. Enter your CD key: Copy and paste your unique 25-character code (usually formatted as XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) into the dedicated input field, then click "Next".

4. Confirm and download: Once the product is identified, confirm the activation. The game will be added to your account immediately. You can start the download right away or find your title at any time in the "Library" tab (located in the bottom-left corner of the app).
